Trekking & Bush Walking
Trackwork supports bushwalkers and trail runner with on-demand and preplanned transport, to guided and tailored experiences. Our Hyundai Santa Fe Hybrid offers rugged luxury to access Heysen trailheads from Adelaide and Clare Valley, with room for packs and up to six passengers. For rougher terrain, our Hilux is highly capable with capacity for four passengers, plus an even tougher option in our Fuso Canter 4×4 truck.
We can manage trail planning to take the weight off your shoulders by positioning supplies along your route. This can be situated in advance for planned long distance treks, or during the transport of walkers to trailheads. Through our network of local partners, Trackwork proudly offers local culinary experiences on-site at your campground, upon demand. This can cater to all dietary choices, offering spectacular food and drink experiences under the stars, with options of talks, interpretation and insights from both indigenous and European historical perspectives.
Gravel Cycling & bike packing
Trackwork, run by seasoned gravel and bikepacking cyclists, can transport up to four riders with bikes and supplies for point-to-point or supported tours across South Australia’s Mid North. Our upgraded Hilux features an Australian-made Shingleback rack for five bikes, protecting them from off-road debris, and for groups of ten we offer either a Hilux or Fuso Canter 4×4.
In partnership with Clare Valley’s Brake and Chain, riders’ bikes can be serviced or spares supplied whilst on the Mawson Trail or other routes. As you travel, we can customise food, accommodation and experiences to your itinerary, experience level and daily distances. We’ve mapped numerous challenging gravel routes radiating from the Clare Valley—ride with a tailwind and we’ll collect you later.
Surfing & Watersport
With vast, wild coastlines and breaks of all forms powered by the raw Southern Ocean, Trackwork knows the swell conditions and where the best waves are breaking. Growing up in the ocean, surfing some of the heaviest and most spectacular breaks in the world, Sam has decades of surfing pedigree having paddled out as young grommet. We have a deep knowledge of weather conditions at beaches across the region, and can support many activities beyond surfing to anything ocean-inspired.
Motorsport Logistics & Marketing
We love rallysport and provide a support and marketing resource to Bogan Racing, of Broken Hill and Sevenhill. In the modes we support our own team, we will also customise packages to rally, tarmac and off-road racing enthusiasts of all types with our support and fleet capabilities. This can include tailored travel logistics, accommodation, photography, drone and marketing for interstate travel to races such as the Finke desert race.
Our Fuso Canter 4×4 safely carries both our driver and your crew of up to six, comfortably and safely, all while towing a vehicle and complete racing payload with our 16-foot off-road trailer. Our Canter features toolboxes, fridge and battery, catering capability and 400 litre water tank with hydrant – thoroughly equipped to support teams nationally. As an accredited Motorsport Australia photographer and drone operator, Sam also offers marketing and photography to maximise sponsor coverage. While on the track, Trackwork can navigate refuel and service locations.
